Kung Hee Fat Choy!!

Happy Chinese New Year everyone!! Every year my grandparents take the entire family out for a Chinese new year lunch and this year we had lunch on Sunday and I decided to create some favors for the occasion. I made 30 take out boxes using my Sizzix XL die.

Since this year is the year of the rabbit I used my Sizzix Bigz Bunny. This bunny is from the Hello Kitty line of Sizzix dies. Isn't she cute!!
After piecing all of the boxes together and cutting and piecing the bunny I had baked almond cookies to fill in the boxes.
This was a really fun and easy project to do. I didn't do all of this in one weekend, I created a little each day and then baked everything the day before. Well, here's to a great year to all of you!! Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to come back tomorrow for more sneak peeks from All That Scraps!! Have a great day!!

Those favors are the cutest. That had to be a lot of work, even if you spread it out over a few days.
Just got the HK cart and would you believe my teenage grandaughters love HK. So I think I'm going to try to do HK with a Kimono for Girls Day.....Need to start working on that!
Beautiful work.
Have a great weekend.
