It has been a very busy week for me as you could see in previous posts this week. Lots of sneak peeks and blog hops! Well today I am sharing a card I created for Tamiko's. This week the team had created cards using Buttons, Brads and Bling. So here's my take on the challenge. I decided not to make it so girlie and full of flowers because it was created for a guy. The image I used is called Cupcake Philip. It's a quick post for me today but I will be back again with more! Be sure to see what the rest of the team created here!! Thanks for stopping by!!

We've made it to the middle of the week, hang in there everyone the weekend is just around the corner!! It's time for a Flutterby Wednesday challenge, and this week the challenge is to use Sparkle and Shine on your card.I've used a brand new image from All That Scraps called Sugarplums Christmas Angel. She will be released on October 4th. So for the sparkle and shine, I added some glitter to her wings and around the sentiment. Then I found some silver dew drops and added them to the card.
You will have until next Tuesday to join the challenge, thanks for stopping by!!
Welcome to the October sneak peeks with All That Scraps!! Today we are showing cards that use stamps from a new artist to the store, Marina Neira. Isn't he cute!!This stamp could be used for either a boy or a girl, but I made it for a boy. Since Summer is coming to an end, I took out my Summer sentiments and added it to the card. I will miss Summer. If you'd like to win these stamps, be sure to leave your comment on this post HERE.

Hello and welcome to the Belles n' Whistles blog hop!! If you have arrived here from Kathrin's blog, you are in the right place, but if not, please begin at the Belles n' Whistles blog. Today we are all featuring the latest stamps called the Changeabelles Collections! They are a variety of accessories that you can use throughout the year and add to your current BnW stamps. The images I used are the Doll, and Teddy, as well as the table and Mommy's Helper.
Here is Mommy's Helper trying to feed her doll while her teddy bear tries to catch the crumbs at the bottom of the table. I remember playing like this with my dolls, and now I see my niece doing this with her dolls. So, my card will go to her.
All of the images you see here are individual stamps. I have cut and mounted the doll and bear, then paper pieced the table cloth. Each of the DT members will be choosing one winner from their blog to receive a stamp of their choice from the collection, AND one lucky winner from the Belles n' Whistles blog will be chosen to win the entire set of the Changeabelles Collection!!
Pre orders will begin Wednesday September 29, and orders will begin to ship out October4.
Now you must head on over and continue to Kathy's Blog.

Hey everyone!! It's time for another Sassy Cheryl challenge! This week the challenge is to create a card using your favorite Sassy Cheryl image. Well, for me this was not easy at all, so instead I went with my favorite theme which is Halloween. The image I chose is called Witch and A Frog. This was a fun one to color especially with all of the colors for Halloween. I loved that I was able to find some matching star paper to go with her cape. Should you join us, be sure to use a Sassy Cheryl image, you will have until next week Monday! Thanks for stopping by!

Welcome to a sneak peek with the newest Sugarplums Christmas Kit from All That Scraps!! This time the team is doing a blog hop of all the cute images!! So, if you have arrived here from Jay Jay's Blog, you are in the right place, otherwise head back to the ATS blog.
The CC Designs Sugarplums Christmas Kit will be released on October 1-15 as a kit, and then released individually on November 1st.The image I have used is called Christmas Candle. I just had to create with her and use traditional colors. In the photo below you can see the card a bit closer. I've added some gold stickles to the poinsettia flower for sparkle and to match the gold on her dress and candle. The sentiment is a new one that will also soon be released!
Now for the fun part!! Be sure to visit all the blogs and leave a comment on each of them. The prize will be a random draw from all the blogs on the hop for a $20 gift certificate to shop at All That Scraps!! Is that AWESOME or what!! Now, head on over to Amy R's Blog!!
This is my first post of the day, please scroll down for my first.
Welcome to a new challenge with Belles n' Whistles!! This week we are challenging you with a sketch. Here's what I created using an image called Two Turtle Doves. She was last year's Christmas stamp and is now available for purchase with the holidays fast approaching.
I've decided to color her up in pastels since I recall last year creating her in darker colors. When piecing the card together, I used my sewing machine to stitch some pink thread on all the panels and decided to try something different. I used my Martha Stewart Holly leaf punch and instead of creating berries for the center I used a red rose and added some stickles for sparkle. You can probably see the pink stitching and rose clearer in this photo. You will have until next week Sunday to participate in the challenge, just be sure to use any stamp you find in the store and follow the sketch. Thanks so much for visiting me today!!
Stamp: Two Turtle Doves (Belles n' Whistles)
Paper: Kaisercraft DSP, Pear Pizzaz CS, Neenah CS
Accessories: Red Satin Ribbon, dew drops, red pearls, sewing machine (pink thread), MS holly leaf punch, red paper roses, stickles
When I look at this scene, I feel so relaxed. I guess because I know it's near the ocean. This image is from I Brake For Stamps and is called Crab Surprise, my guess is because it looks like he is just about to pinch that bird's tail. LOL!!Besides having fun coloring the image, I also had fun adding some rope to my card to match the frame that cases this scene. In the corner of the stamp, there are little circles that represent nails so I used a vintage brad in each of the 4 corners for dimension. This is a great masculine card that will match any occasion. Be sure to check out the store for this image, NEW stamps and tons others and save on your next purchase using my code: SAVE10JODI!! Thanks for stoppin' by!!

Hey there!! I know all of you crafters out there have fallen in love with a digital or stamp that was illustrated by Elisabeth Bell. Since being on the design team for Elisabeth Bell Digitals, I have finally had the chance to create with this cute and sweet little girl who's appropriately named Lil Princess Tu-Tu.
Elisabeth and the design team have a blog that you can now follow for sneak peeks, card and project ideas and more, just click HERE.For my card I just had to color my image up in pink, and what better color for a sweet cowgirl! One of my favorite color combos are pink and brown. To piece my card together I did some sewing on each of the panels added some brown crochet lace to the center panel, a couple of pink flowers and some light pink clear hearts from Wild Orchid Crafts.
The pink corners of the image were created using pink silk ribbon. I've also added some stickles to the crown she wears and also to her long sleeved shirt (which is not so visible here). It's almost the end of the month and that means soon we will be having sneak peeks of the next digital image to be released for October! For more digital images from Elisabeth Bell, click HERE!!

Hope you had a great start to the workweek!! It's Tuesday and that means it's time for a new challenge with Sassy Cheryl's! This week the challenge is to create a card following a sketch.
Here's my take on the sketch. I of course went with Halloween. This image is new to the store and is called Tiny Witches Spells. I usually don't use purples but tried this deep purple, it really looks so close to black but I think you can see it a little at the end of her cape.
You can use any image from Sassy Cheryl's for the sketch and the challenge. Enjoy your day!

Hey everyone, looks like I am finally on the my way to getting rid of this cold. Thanks again for all of the get well wishes!! I will now have to try and get back into the swing of things as my crafting was put on hold for a few days. Not being able to create and being sick is a bummer.
Today I have a new challenge for you with Belles n' Whistles!! The challenge is to create a card using the Clean and Simple Technique. Here's my take on the challenge using the stamp called A Child's Prayer. Adorable and sweet image, I had to color her up in pink and added some lavendar to soften it even more. This week's challenge will be up until next Sunday. Should you join us, be sure to use a stamp from Belles n' Whistles. Thanks for stopping by!

I know there are women who like cars too but I know that this card will pass for a masculine one. Be sure to check out the I Brake For Stamps Store, there's a new layout, you'll be able to find things easier and don't forget that you can use this code to save more: SAVE10JODI. This image is not yet available in the store but will be on September 24th!!One of the things I like about this image is how versatile it is. I can use this not only for Valentine's Day but for any occasion!! All you need to do is change up the colors. This is my last card creating with InStyle Stamps as their Guest Designer for the past 2 months. It was great coming back as guest after being on the DT for 1 year. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!

Today is another 3D challenge with Tamiko's Thursday Teasers and this time I decided to create something I haven't done in a while. It's one of my favorite projects because it's cute and easy to make. This is a card purse, but instead of placing a card in it, I would use it to put craft goodies...even better right? This week we'd like you to join us for a challenge. That's right! All you need to do is create a card or project and alter a Greeting Farm image. The 2 images I used to create this cutie are Miko's Head (from The Roll Call set), and Monday's Body (Creeper stamp). What's cuter than a sweet face with an edgy outfit!
Your entry qualifies if you swap heads and bodies, or if you just decide to alter their hair, and eyes. You will have until September 30th to participate. The winner of the challenge will receive a Sweet Anya stamp. Don't forget, FREE shipping on any order of $25 or more with Tamiko's!! Thanks for stopping by, have a great day!

I will really go all out with as many embellishments as I can when it comes to Halloween just because it's a fun time of year and you can't really make a mistake.

I hardly work with shades of purples but I also wanted to use up this printed paper. Once in a while I also like creating cards that are clean and simple so here's one of them. Should you join us for the challenge be sure to use a butterfly, fairy or an angel and add some buttons! Have a great day!!

Please scroll down for my second post of the day!
Well, I must say that it has really been a crazy week and weekend for me. Toward the end of last week I started feeling a bit under the weather and then felt better on the weekend. I go to work yesterday and could just feel myself coming down with something again. Ugh!! I hate being sick!! Anyway I've created a card today to show you an adorable set from All That Scraps called Take A Seat. This set is available for a limited time only. It's available for purchase until September 20th!! This has got to be one of the most adorable sets from the store. This image is called Sunflower Emma.I've used Sunflower Emma and placed her on a wagon. This wagon comes with the kit, along with more images of Trevor, Emma and other things they can sit on. I love to create scenes with my stamp sets even if they are a bit time consuming, the end result is worth it.

So the image I chose is called The List. We all know "the list" from childhood and just hoped that we were on the good one, I did anyway. LOL!! For my card I have added flowersoft to Santa's clothing, did some sewing on the printed papers, added some Martha Stewart punched snowflakes and bling. Hope you'll join the fun this week!!

Well, I must tell you that I did not get that chance to clean my craft desk or craft room yesterday as planned. Yes there were tons of other household things that needed to be done so I will just have to find another day to do so. I also have not had that chance to visit all of your blogs yesterday but will be doing so today!!
It's Monday and I thought I'd start the week off with a card that uses a stamp of a fairy and a friend. That's the name of the stamp... Fairy Friends. It's found at I Brake For Stamps. If you've never visited this store before you must take a look and see the huge number of stamps and all the varieties too!! Lots to choose from for all interests!! While on your way to checkout, don't forget to use my discount code: SAVE10JODI. I used a black background for the card to show the colored image better, then added some butterflies to match.
A huge thank you to all of you who comment on my blog posts each day, I know how time consuming it is to do so. Each day I look forward to reading them all!! =)

It really is a gorgeous stamp and I love that you can use any color for them.To create my card I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder (Mandarin Screen) and embossed the black cardstock. Hello everyone, I am back with another post for today!! This is for the reveal and release of the newest digital image from Elisabeth Bell. So, after a long wait, here it is!! This sweet image is called Catch of the Day! She was inspired by Elisabeth's daughter who loves shopping and mermaids.
I myself would find it hard to incorporate the 2 but Elisabeth has done it again and made it happen!!
Well you are now able to purchase this image HERE, and don't forget to check out what the rest of the design team has created with her at the DigiBells Blog!!
One more thing before I let you go... If you are looking for some of last year's holiday stamps from Belles n' Whistles, you can get them HERE. I know many of you are interested in getting the cute Little Witch with Broom!! Thank you so much for all of your comments, I have finally been able to get back on track with visiting all of you! =)
It's finally Aloha Friday and time for a new challenge with Christmas Stampin' All Year Long!! The challenge is to create a card using Brads/Eyelets. This week the DT have been sponsored by InStyle Stamps. The image I used for my card is called Snowman Chick, I love to color up anime images! For my card I have used some red brads for buttons on the snowman and some green ones in the corners of the image. I then used my MS snowflake border punch and added more snowflakes and bling. Are you ready for another Tamiko's Thursday Teasers Challenge? This week's challenge is to create a card using the sketch and a Wild Sprout image from The Greeting Farm. I love a challenge and had decided to use an image that was not used as often as others. I bet you forgot her name... This is Bree, she is a Wild Sprout and don't you find her adorable! Here's my take on the sketch challenge. I think she is a mail carrier and decided to match the papers to her too. The paper is from Stampin' Up! and was perfect because of the houses. My sentiment comes from TGF stamp set called Roll Call. This set has lots of cute images and sentiments. You can find both of the stamps at Tamiko's! Don't forget that any order of $25 or more qualifies for FREE shipping!
One of the things I finally got to use in this card besides the paper is my cloud die.
Thanks again for stopping by!
Stamp: TGF Wild Sprout Bree, Sentiment (Roll Call set)
Paper: Welcome Neighbor DSP (Stampin' up), Teal CS, Mustard CS, neenah CS

Happy hump day! With Monday being a holiday I am looking forward to this shorter work week. Believe me, working 4 days a week instead of 5 makes a big difference. This week's challenge for Flutterby Wednesday we are creating cards using the new and adorable stamps drawn by Elisabeth Bell! The DT were sponsored by Susana's Custom Art and Card Design. The line of stamps we are using is called Animapeeps and my image is named Sweet Slumbers. A cute and sweet little bunny sleeping in a pea pod. I think this would make a perfect card for a newborn, or a baby's birthday. Anyway the challenge this week is to create a card or project using the color PINK!! Whoo hoo, no complaints out of me... I love pink!!
Be sure to upload your creation to this post HERE. Thanks for stopping by, and for all of your sweet and very thoughtful comments. I truly appreciate and love reading all of your comments, it's one of the things that brighten my day! =)

It's time to head back to work after yesterday's holiday, what a bummer! The weekdays go by slow and the weekends so quickly. Today's a new challenge with Sassy Cheryl's and it was my turn to choose the challenge. This week I'd like to see you create a card using the following recipe: Use any Snowman image from the store, Ribbon, Buttons and Bling. Simple enough right! There are lots of snowmen to choose from in the store, but I have finally decided on this happy guy. His name is Happy Pappy Snowman! So fun! This is my next favorite time of year so creating for the holidays are not so hard. The only thing is that the holidays are always hectic, the rushing around for gifts, preparing the family gatherings and finding that perfect Christmas tree. All of which will be here in no time! Meanwhile, I hope that you will take some time out of your busy schedules to join in on my challenge! Thanks for stopping by! =)
Stamp: Sassy Cheryl's (Happy Pappy Snowman)

I hope all of you who are off today are enjoying it! It's rare for me to get a holiday or a day off so I'm going to try to make the best of it. Today is challenge day for Belles n' Whistles, and this week is a color challenge using RED, YELLOW and GREEN.The stamp that I am using is called Smile, I just love this image because she is really versatile for all seasons and I have actually used her and made her into a Christmas card. So, here she is now made into a Fall card. I hope that you will join us for the challenge, all you have to do is create a card using these colors, and of course any Belles n' Whistles stamp from the store.
Paper: Basic Grey June Bug, SU retired DSP, SU Pear CS
With today being a holiday, I hope you'll have time to get some crafting done and get in a challenge or two. It's time for a new challenge over at Sunday's With Crissy!! We've got something new going on with the challenges. From now, we will be having challenges on the first day of the month and instead of having all of the cards from the DT being posted to one long post, we are each taking a day in the month to post our creation on the Sunday's with Crissy challenge blog. (Hope that makes sense)
This month's challenge is to create a card using Sparkle and Shine. As soon as I saw this beautiful butterfly, I knew that it was the perfect image for this challenge. The name of this beauty is called These Three Remain.
It really reminds me of a cross between vintage and whimsical.... if that makes any sense. LOL
I love the message on the wings too. Look closely and you'll see the words Faith, Hope and Love. This image can be purchased at Whimsy Stamps. For the sparkle and shine, I used stickles on the pink borders and on various parts of the butterfly.
Should you participate in the challenge, you will have until September 30th to enter, and of course we need to see that sparkle and shine. You will also be uploading your creations to this post HERE. I hope that you'll join us!! Have a great day!

I hope all of you are enjoying this nice three day weekend! I am having a great weekend, finally getting some good crafting time which is so relaxing for me. Speaking of relaxing, this stamp that I used for my card today just reminds me that I haven't gone to see the sunset for a few months now. It's a really beautiful time of day. The name of the stamp is called Sunset and can be found at I Brake For Stamps. It was a bit difficult for me to color this image, I didn't really plan the colors out to my liking but once I started coloring I just decided to go with it. Since I wanted the focal point of my card to be the stamp, I went for a simple background and minimal embellishments.
Don't forget that you can save big on your purchases with I Brake for Stamps, all you need to do is use this code: SAVE10JODI when you checkout!! I've got one more post today, please scroll down to see that, thanks so much for stopping by!
Hey there! Thanks for joining me on my second post of the day!! Lately I've been seeing lots of images of birds and birdcages, so as the Guest DT member for InStyle Stamps I've chosen to create with this image called Chirpin' Love. It's a simple image but great for all occasion cards! This image will not be available for purchase in the store until September 24th. Happy crafting everyone, enjoy the day!
Saturday, September 4, 2010
Hey there! I hope your Saturday is going great! Welcome to Day #3 of sneak peeks with All That Scraps, we are featuring some Fall Swiss Pixies stamps. This adorable image is too cute, and his name is Fall Hansel. I rarely create with stamps that are for boys, I think most stamps are made using girl images.Anyway, I had fun making this card and working with this image. For his clothes, I didn't want it to just be a plain green shirt, so I drew in some black lines to make it look like plaid. I hope you can see that with this photo.
If you'd like to win a stamp, head on over to this post HERE. Enjoy the long weekend everyone!
Stamp: Fall Swiss Pixies (Fall Hansel), Amy R's Autumn Sentiments
Paper: Apple Cider paper pad (Imaginisce), Mustard CS, Cocoa CS
Accessories: Pearls, sewing machine, tag punch, airbrush, sewing machine, MS punch, green grosgrain ribbon

Welcome to another sneak peek day with All That Scraps!! Today we are giving you a preview of the latest Twisted Sisters collection designed by Amy Young. The stamp I have for you today is named Jessamine. Is she sweet and sassy or what! I love it! All of these girls are seriously sweet and sassy!I turned my image into a sassy Halloween card and used a sentiment from Amy R's Spooky sentiments. It really is hard to see in this photo but I have used some black lace at the bottom to match the image. Used some stickles and bling for sparkle. I have also created this card to enter in a challenge for Color Me Copic, the challenge is to color curly hair. I've got more sneak peeks coming your way for the weekend, stay tuned!

It's been a really busy week and month for me, so you may see quite a few posts in one day. I am really excited to share the new releases this month with All That Scraps!! We've got some super cute Halloween stamps and here is one of them, this is Cat Girl Honey! She and Lesa Honey will be available on Monday September 6th.I know I keep saying it but I love Halloween!! As soon as I saw Cat Girl Honey I knew I had to create with her first. I kept to the more earthy colors of Halloween instead of the bright orange, purples and greens. The sentiment is from Amy R's Spooky sentiments. Anyway, if you'd like to win your own stamp be sure to leave a comment on the ATS post HERE.
Stamp: Cat Girl Honey, Amy R's Spooky Sentiments

Aloha! Welcome to a new challenge with Tamiko's!! I hope you enjoyed last week's challenge which was to create a 3D item. This week's challenge is to create a card with a color challenge. The colors are PINK, GREEN and BROWN.The stamp I chose is from a set called Oliver and Amelia: My Favorite Thing. She is just adorable and I loved using this color combo on her. One of the fun things I love to do is to use my copics on something other than paper. So I have colored clear dew drops with my copics to match the color of my paper and card. Sometimes embellishments don't really match as close to the papers. Tamiko's has lots and lots of dew drops, so get yours now! You will also receive FREE shipping on any order over $25!! I hope you will join the challenge this week! I hope to visit your blogs today, things have been extremely busy with work and home. =)
Stamp: Oliver and Amelia: My Favorite Thing, Sentiment: Amy R's Summer Sentiments
Accessories: Nestabilities, oval punch, scallop oval punch, dew drops, stickles, and pink polka dot grosgrain ribbon

Time for a new challenge with Flutterby Wednesday!! This week we are asking you to create a using a sketch, you can view the sketch on the blog, HERE. The image I chose to use this week is called Surfer Emma, who's ready to hit the waves.I decided not to do a card with lots of embellishments, and went for the clean and simple technique. These colors looked like they were perfect for the image. I have also added the butterflies since there were none. I hope you will join the challenge this week! Have a great day and I hope you will check out my 2 other posts for today!!
Things have really been busy for me and today I've got 3 posts to show for it!! I hope all of you enjoyed the last challenge for Copic Creations where we did Reflections. For the next 2 weeks, the challenge is to create a card using an image that has Pleats and Folds. This DT have decided to use Magnolia stamps since Tilda has great dresses for it.The sponsor for this challenge's prize is Stamping Scrapping. There will be TWO winners instead of one, and a choice of either Bon Voyage Tilda or Bon Voyage Edwin. I know there are lots and lots of images out there that you can use for this challenge, so let's see what you've got! You'll have until September 14th to participate!
