Cupcake Anyone?

It has been a very busy week for me as you could see in previous posts this week. Lots of sneak peeks and blog hops! Well today I am sharing a card I created for Tamiko's. This week the team had created cards using Buttons, Brads and Bling.

So here's my take on the challenge. I decided not to make it so girlie and full of flowers because it was created for a guy. Sparkle and Shine

We've made it to the middle of the week, hang in there everyone the weekend is just around the corner!! It's time for a Flutterby Wednesday challenge, and this week the challenge is to use Sparkle and Shine on your card.

I've used a brand new image from All That Scraps called Sugarplums Christmas Angel. She will be released on October 4th. So for the sparkle and shine, I added some glitter to her wings and around the sentiment. Then I found some silver dew drops and added them to the card.

Belles n' Whistles: The Changeabelles

Hello and welcome to the Belles n' Whistles blog hop!! If you have arrived here from Kathrin's blog, you are in the right place, but if not, please begin at the Belles n' Whistles blog. Today we are all featuring the latest stamps called the Changeabelles Collections! They are a variety of accessories that you can use throughout the year and add to your current BnW stamps.

The images I used are the Doll, and Teddy, as well as the table and Mommy's Helper.
Here is Mommy's Helper trying to feed her doll while her teddy bear tries to catch the crumbs at the bottom of the table. I remember playing like this with my dolls, and now I see my niece doing this with her dolls. So, my card will go to her.
All of the images you see here are individual stamps. I have cut and mounted the doll and bear, then paper pieced the table cloth. All That Scraps: Sugarplums Christmas Kit

The image I have used is called Christmas Candle. I just had to create with her and use traditional colors. In the photo below you can see the card a bit closer. I've added some gold stickles to the poinsettia flower for sparkle and to match the gold on her dress and candle. The sentiment is a new one that will also soon be released!

Two Turtle Doves

This is my first post of the day, please scroll down for my first.

Welcome to a new challenge with Belles n' Whistles!! This week we are challenging you with a sketch. Here's what I created using an image called Two Turtle Doves. She was last year's Christmas stamp and is now available for purchase with the holidays fast approaching.

I've decided to color her up in pastels since I recall last year creating her in darker colors. When piecing the card together, I used my sewing machine to stitch some pink thread on all the panels and decided to try something different. I used my Martha Stewart Holly leaf punch and instead of creating berries for the center I used a red rose and added some stickles for sparkle.

You can probably see the pink stitching and rose clearer in this photo. You will have until next week Sunday to participate in the challenge, just be sure to use any stamp you find in the store and follow the sketch. Thanks so much for visiting me today!!

Crab Surprise

When I look at this scene, I feel so relaxed. I guess because I know it's near the ocean. This image is from I Brake For Stamps and is called Crab Surprise, my guess is because it looks like he is just about to pinch that bird's tail. LOL!!

Besides having fun coloring the image, I also had fun adding some rope to my card to match the frame that cases this scene. In the corner of the stamp, there are little circles that represent nails so I used a vintage brad in each of the 4 corners for dimension. This is a great masculine card that will match any occasion. Quiet Santa

We made it to Friday, that means it's time for a new challenge with Christmas Stampin' All Year Long!! This week the challenge is an inspiration challenge. We'd like for you to use the photo on the blog as a guide to create your card.

What I took from the photo were the colors and stripes from the stockings and assembled this card.

Li'l Princess Tu-Tu

Hey there!! I know all of you crafters out there have fallen in love with a digital or stamp that was illustrated by Elisabeth Bell. Since being on the design team for Elisabeth Bell Digitals, I have finally had the chance to create with this cute and sweet little girl who's appropriately named Lil Princess Tu-Tu.

For my card I just had to color my image up in pink, and what better color for a sweet cowgirl! One of my favorite color combos are pink and brown. To piece my card together I did some sewing on each of the panels added some brown crochet lace to the center panel, a couple of pink flowers and some light pink clear hearts from Wild Orchid Crafts.

The pink corners of the image were created using pink silk ribbon. I've also added some stickles to the crown she wears and also to her long sleeved shirt (which is not so visible here). It's almost the end of the month and that means soon we will be having sneak peeks of the next digital image to be released for October! For more digital images from Elisabeth Bell, click HERE!!

Happy hump day! Wow, can you believe we are nearly at the end of September? It's amazing how time flies especially when it gets close to the holidays. Hope you had a great start to the workweek!! It's Tuesday and that means it's time for a new challenge with Sassy Cheryl's! This week the challenge is to create a card following a sketch.

Here's my take on the sketch. I of course went with Halloween. This image is new to the store and is called Tiny Witches Spells. I usually don't use purples but tried this deep purple, it really looks so close to black but I think you can see it a little at the end of her cape.

A Child's Prayer

Hey everyone, looks like I am finally on the my way to getting rid of this cold. Thanks again for all of the get well wishes!! I will now have to try and get back into the swing of things as my crafting was put on hold for a few days. Not being able to create and being sick is a bummer.

Today I have a new challenge for you with Belles n' Whistles!! The challenge is to create a card using the Clean and Simple Technique.

Here's my take on the challenge using the stamp called A Child's Prayer. Adorable and sweet image, I had to color her up in pink and added some lavendar to soften it even more. A Classic

I'm back with my second post of the day with this classic. I can't ever recall that I colored any car image until I made this card. I've always wanted to color it in gold, so here's my first try at it. This image is from I Brake For Stamps and is called Vintage Auto.

You've Got Mail

I love that movie!! I think Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks make a great movie couple. Well, today I've used an image from In Style Stamps called Mailbox Love. This image is not yet available in the store but will be on September 24th!!

One of the things I like about this image is how versatile it is. I can use this not only for Valentine's Day but for any occasion!! All you need to do is change up the colors. This is my last card creating with InStyle Stamps as their Guest Designer for the past 2 months. It was great coming back as guest after being on the DT for 1 year. Enjoy the rest of the weekend!!

Take A Seat Sunflower Emma

Well, I must say that it has really been a crazy week and weekend for me. Toward the end of last week I started feeling a bit under the weather and then felt better on the weekend. I go to work yesterday and could just feel myself coming down with something again. Ugh!! I hate being sick!! I've got a double post each day of this week and still have to complete them, I'm way behind schedule.

The List

Are all of you getting into that mood for the holidays yet? I know a few of you have mentioned that you can feel the air getting much cooler and ready for Fall. Well before you know it the holidays will be upon us. That brings me to a new challenge for Sassy Cheryl's. These have got to be one of my most favorite craft tools to use. It really accents any image!

Well, I must tell you that I did not get that chance to clean my craft desk or craft room yesterday as planned. To create my card I have used a cuttlebug embossing folder (Mandarin Screen) and embossed the black cardstock. Then I used my spellbinders and cut out the shape around the image. Lastly, I added some colored pearls to the corners of the image and card and added a red bow.

Happy hump day! With Monday being a holiday I am looking forward to this shorter work week. Believe me, working 4 days a week instead of 5 makes a big difference. The line of stamps we are using is called Animapeeps and my image is named Sweet Slumbers. A cute and sweet little bunny sleeping in a pea pod. Follow My Recipe

It's time to head back to work after yesterday's holiday, what a bummer! The weekdays go by slow and the weekends so quickly. Today's a new challenge with Sassy Cheryl's and it was my turn to choose the challenge. There are lots of snowmen to choose from in the store, but I have finally decided on this happy guy. His name is Happy Pappy Snowman! So fun! With today being a holiday, I hope you'll have time to get some crafting done and get in a challenge or two. It's time for a new challenge over at Sunday's With Crissy!! We've got something new going on with the challenges. From now, we will be having challenges on the first day of the month and instead of having all of the cards from the DT being posted to one long post, we are each taking a day in the month to post our creation on the Sunday's with Crissy challenge blog. (Hope that makes sense)

This month's challenge is to create a card using Sparkle and Shine. As soon as I saw this beautiful butterfly, I knew that it was the perfect image for this challenge. The name of this beauty is called These Three Remain.

It really reminds me of a cross between vintage and whimsical.... if that makes any sense. LOL

I love the message on the wings too. Look closely and you'll see the words Faith, Hope and Love. This image can be purchased at Whimsy Stamps. For the sparkle and shine, I used stickles on the pink borders and on various parts of the butterfly.

Time to Relax

I hope all of you are enjoying this nice three day weekend! I am having a great weekend, finally getting some good crafting time which is so relaxing for me. Speaking of relaxing, this stamp that I used for my card today just reminds me that I haven't gone to see the sunset for a few months now. It's a really beautiful time of day. The name of the stamp is called Sunset and can be found at I Brake For Stamps.

It was a bit difficult for me to color this image, I didn't really plan the colors out to my liking but once I started coloring I just decided to go with it. Since I wanted the focal point of my card to be the stamp, I went for a simple background and minimal embellishments.

ATS Sneak Peek Day #3: Fall Swiss Pixies

Hey there! I hope your Saturday is going great! Welcome to Day #3 of sneak peeks with All That Scraps, we are featuring some Fall Swiss Pixies stamps. This adorable image is too cute, and his name is Fall Hansel. I rarely create with stamps that are for boys, I think most stamps are made using girl images.

Anyway, I had fun making this card and working with this image. For his clothes, I didn't want it to just be a plain green shirt, so I drew in some black lines to make it look like plaid. I hope you can see that with this photo.

Welcome to another sneak peek day with All That Scraps!! Today we are giving you a preview of the latest Twisted Sisters collection designed by Amy Young. The stamp I have for you today is named Jessamine. Is she sweet and sassy or what! I love it! All of these girls are seriously sweet and sassy!

I turned my image into a sassy Halloween card and used a sentiment from Amy R's Spooky sentiments. It really is hard to see in this photo but I have used some black lace at the bottom to match the image. Used some stickles and bling for sparkle. I have also created this card to enter in a challenge for Color Me Copic, the challenge is to color curly hair. I've got more sneak peeks coming your way for the weekend, stay tuned!

Let's Play Tag!

It's time for all of us to start thinking about the holidays, it really is just around the corner with September beginning as of yesterday. So, the challenge this week for Christmas Stampin' All Year Long is to create this adorable tag holder and 3 tags.

This is really a cute and fun project to make, and it's also a great gift!!

These are my very first Christmas tags for the holiday.I have also created these tags for my Tag Swap partner Jenny. Below are the tags she created for me, aren't they adorable!

I finally got to meet Jenny in person, she is so sweet and funny, I hope to craft with her again and hope that she likes these tags!! Aloha! Welcome to a new challenge with Tamiko's!! I hope you enjoyed last week's challenge which was to create a 3D item. This week's challenge is to create a card with a color challenge. The colors are PINK, GREEN and BROWN.

The stamp I chose is from a set called Oliver and Amelia: My Favorite Thing. She is just adorable and I loved using this color combo on her. One of the fun things I love to do is to use my copics on something other than paper. So I have colored clear dew drops with my copics to match the color of my paper and card. A Flutterby Birthday

Time for a new challenge with Flutterby Wednesday!! This week we are asking you to create a using a sketch, you can view the sketch on the blog, HERE. The image I chose to use this week is called Surfer Emma, who's ready to hit the waves.

I decided not to do a card with lots of embellishments, and went for the clean and simple technique. These colors looked like they were perfect for the image. Copic Creations: Pleats and Folds

Things have really been busy for me and today I've got 3 posts to show for it!! I hope all of you enjoyed the last challenge for Copic Creations where we did Reflections. For the next 2 weeks, the challenge is to create a card using an image that has Pleats and Folds. This DT have decided to use Magnolia stamps since Tilda has great dresses for it.
