Belles n' Whistles Snowbabies Blog Hop!!

It's time for another NEW release with Belles n' Whistles!! This time we are releasing images that are for the Winter, and they are absolutely ADORABLE!! Welcome the Snowbabies Collection!! If you arrived here from Gini's blog you are in the right place but if you have just arrived here on my blog, please start at the beginning at the Belles n' Whistles blog.
The image I have used here is called Peek A Boo! Cute right!
If you can recall, last year the team did a Christmas blog hop where we made our card and also a holiday dessert. This year the team is creating a card and a holiday drink. There really are lots and lots of holiday drinks out there so it was hard to choose. But since Christmas is kid friendly, I went with a non alcoholic beverage and made Hot Mulled Cider. It's a recipe I have never made yet and wanted to try since it is so easy. If you'd like to make this drink I here's the recipe:

Hot Mulled Cider

16 cups pure apple juice
4(2-inch) cinnamon sticks
2 oranges, peels and juice
8 whole cloves
6 star anise

Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
Pour into mugs and serve.

One very important thing that the team and I want to share with all of you is about breast cancer awareness. Our very sweet and dear team members/sisters have been stricken with breast cancer and we'd like to help and hope that you'll help by making a purchase with Belles n' Whistles where 10% of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research in both Jacque(former DT) and Elise's honor.
Here's a closer look at the card I made. This was the perfect time for me to use my snowflake punch, added some bling in the center an also used some flower soft for the snow at the bottom of the image and added some to the tops of both of their hats. I tried to go for a realistic snowfall.
The pre orders for the Snowbabies Collection begins on Wednesday October 27, orders will begin to ship out on Friday October 29th. Remember to leave a comment on each of the blogs in the blog hop in order to have a chance at either winning a single stamp from one of the DT blogs, or to have a chance at winning the entire set of the Snowbabies Collection from the Belles n' Whistles blog.
Here's the list of the Hop:

What a beautiful card Jodi! I love how brought this cutie and her "cool" friend to live with your georgeous way of coloring - and that flower soft really adds the perfect finishing touch.

I will have to try the recipe for my girls since they love hot drinks in winter but one of them allergic to the red juices that are usually used for them!

Big hugs!
Kathrin

I love mulled cider and this stamp! Hiding behind a snowman is such a great winter image. I also like the way you colored in this stamp. I find it hard to create a balance between coloring and leaving white space on images that are supposed to be white, like snow. Thanks for the inspiration!

Your card is very nicely done. The stamp is very cute. I love Elizabeth's designs. There are many more breast cancer survivors within this community, including myself (2 years) and I want to thank you for your donation to this cause. It is extremely important that all of us do a monthly breast self-exam, it could save your life!
