A Sassy Birthday!

Did you enjoy the 4th of July weekend and get to see the fireworks? I had a great weekend, and managed to get quite a bit of things done and made time to see the fireworks too! I wish there were more 3 day weekends in the year. Well, it's time for a new challenge with Sassy Cheryl, and this week we are creating cards with a sketch that you can find on the blog HERE.
Since July is my birth month, I chose an image called A Load of Cake. It really is a load of cake!! I love chocolate over vanilla, and pink is my favorite color so, I colored the cake just the way I like it.
When piecing the card together, and referring to the sketch, I immediately thought of using these beautiful flowers created from ribbon. They were created by my dear, sweet friend Cami! She had made me just about every color in the rainbow, thank you so much Cami, I love them all and they look just beautiful when used on a card!!
