HOT HOT HOT!

Good Monday morning! Today I've got a few things to share with you. First, is a card I made for the Roses On Paper Challenge. The challenge is to create a card using these colors: Red, Orange and Brown. The first stamp that came to mind was Rescue Ian.
I just had to use this stamp because to me he matched it the most. The challenge calls for orange to be used. Well, I actually did use orange but it's more of a orange-yellow. The colors appear to have pulled more on the yellow side than the orange.

I just love popping my images giving them the 3D effect, so I popped the badge on his hat and mounted him on the white CS. I've also done the same thing to the stars. My next card was created for the Christmas Stampin' all Year Long Challenge. The challenge is to create a card using the technique called spotlighting. This is one of my favorite techniques.

This technique makes the image pop up with the coloring, and no need for the mounting tape. Since the image is a little bigger, I spotlighted in 2 areas.
