A Fun Filled Day!!

Hello Everyone! On Saturday, Teri organized a day for the local bloggers to meet in person. What a great idea that was! In the photo, you can see all of us which totals up to about 35 of us!! Whoo Hoo!! Not only were we able to finally see each other in person, and talk story but Teri created 3 projects for us to create while there. To top that off, we also had the opportunity to shop with the 3 online stores: Roses on Paper, Little C's and Tamiko's!! I think only in Hawaii are you able to have a huge group like this. Now don't the rest of you want to live here in Hawaii with us! =)
One of the things that I was asked to do was a demonstration to color black hair using copic pens. First, I am not copic certified but have my own technique for coloring and the use of these pens. Since it was successful, I am in the process of doing tutorials so the rest of you out there can see my process.
It was so very nice to meet all of you in person and you are all just as sweet in person as on your blogs!
I hope that we can all get together like this again, maybe an early Christmas celebration?? We'll see!! =)
Here is a card I made using one of the newest stamps from Belles n' Whistles called Lil Miss Poppy. One of my favorites! =) These adorable stamps were available for purchase on Saturday with our gathering. Soon there will be some new ones coming, I can't wait!!
In the meantime, if you love these cuties be sure to get them HERE!!
So, do most of you want me to list the copics I used for each part of my image? It is a little time consuming but if this is useful for you I will continue to list the numbers.
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
Paper: Basic Grey Lemonade DSP, Rose Red, Regal Rose, Neenah CS
Copics: Skin: E00, E11, R20. Hair: E31, E25,E47. Dress: R11, RV21, RV34, G40, G21, G99.
Basket: E31, E47.
Copic Airbrush System: Y21
Accessories: Nestabilities, Pink Half Pearls, Stitched Ribbon.

I have never met anybody from the blogging world in fact there isn't any meets near me apart from one that I know about and they only have twelve people at one time so there's a waiting list. So you are so lucky, you must have had such a great time. I haven't even the confidence to set one up myself.
You all look like great friendly crafters I bet there were a lot of fantastic creations.
Happy crafting

You do a terrific job on coloring with copics, and I'm sure other readers would appreciate your listing the colors. What might save you time is to gather your pens in a bunch and take a pic with the numbers listed. You find the cutest stamps, Jodi.

Oh my gosh, how cool to meet up like that. I didn't know there were 35 Hawaii bloggers. I guess I gotta look for them. Where are all of them. ..you should put a blog list of all the Hawaii bloggers on your site. Well, if I was living there. . .I definitely would be hanging out for sure!

Love your card. ..you colored that cute image so beautifully...love all the pretty highlights! Great choice of colors too!

Jodi - what a beautiful card - absolutely one of my favorite images!! I know it's a lot of work but I like the copic numbers listed - one because I'm gathering colors and this helps me see what goes together and what I should purchase. Second because it makes it easier for me to practice rather than spend all my time trying to figure out which ones too use...KWIM?
