Santa and Pumpkins?

Did you wonder what the title of my post meant? No, I didn't create a card with Santa and pumpkins in his sack, LOL! I just combined 2 card for 2 different challenges! My first card is for Flutterby Wednesday where the challenge is to create a card using circles.
I of course had to create with my cute little image from CC Designs which is perfect for Thanksgiving. I've had her since Halloween and only had a chance to ink her up now. The circles I've used are made with my nestabilities.
To accent my card, I added little dots of liquid pearls on the scalloped nestability, and a dew drop in each corner of the card. Lastly some glitter for her wings. Be sure to stop by each of the other DT blogs to see what they have created for this challenge! Ann, Cassie, Chris, Christine, Harriet, Heather, Karen, Kris, Kristie, Lelia, Michelle, Nancy, Nicola, Pam, Stef, Taylor.
My next card was created for the All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge! This week's challenge is a sketch challenge, and a very fun one too! Check out the blog to see the sketch! Come on and join the fun, remember you do not need to have a CC Designs stamp to participate. You can participate using any stamp that is sold at All That Scraps.
The stamp I used is from Whiff of Joy and is called Quiet Santa. I love all of the santas in this collection they have the cutest faces!! When making my card I wanted to be sure you were able to see the different prints of papers so I have added red cardstock to the back of each one as well as alternating it with a piece of embossed white cardstock using my cuttlebug folder.
Last, I added the black ribbon to simulate the tie around santa's bag of toys and his belt. Sure hope you have a chance to join in on both of these fun challenges even though it's a busy Thanksgiving week! If you are unable to stop by tomorrow, I'd like to wish each and everyone of you and your families a very Happy and Safe Thanksgiving!!
Have a great day!

Little Girl

Good morning! Hope you enjoyed the Belles n Whistles blog hop, if you'd like to participate in chance to win the entire set of the newest release, click HERE. A winner will be announced Thursday on the blog.
The card I made to share with you today is using an adorable image from Alota Rubberstamps called Little Girl.
I wanted to have her in red for the holidays and decided to add some black and white which now makes it look like the colors of Twilight! LOL! Somehow the colors in the photo appear more on the orange side, rather than red... I hate that. Believe me, it is red.
Anyway, starting today and up until November 28th, there is a 20% off sale going on at Alota Rubberstamps! All you need to do is use the Coupon Code: ALOTATHANKS when you check out. Just a hint, there will be some very cute images coming out soon!!
Come back tomorrow for Flutterby Wednesday and a new challenge for All That Scraps!
Have a great day!

If you just arrived here from Iris's blog, or just got here on my blog, start off back HERE on the Belles N' Whistles blog.
The team and I have decided to do packaging with our stamps just in time for the holidays!

Here is a closer look at the image and how adorable this stamp is! I'm sure many of you can see you a relative baking together for the holidays.
I hope you enjoyed my project and that it will start you thinking of what you will make for the holidays with the new line of Belles N' Whistles stamps. Remember to leave a comment here in order to have a better chance at winning the entire set of the new Christmas Collection. Rudolph's Crew

Time to make some Christmas ornaments! That's right, the new challenge for Spotlight Saturday is to create a Christmas ornament. The ornaments created by the team were made with images from the Cutting Cafe. The ornament I made uses a cute image of a reindeer in the center with all the names of each of Santa's reindeer around it.
I am loving the non-traditional colors for the holidays and have chosen pink again. =) To create this ornament, I used a snowflake nestability and cut 2 out in pink. I then punched 2 of the reindeer images with a circle punch and placed it in the center of the snowflakes.
I wanted to create a useful ornament for the tree, so the next thing I did was use an empty container with a lid and placed a ribbon around it, then added one snowflake one the lid and the other to the bottom of the container.
Here is the opened ornament that will actually hold a small piece of jewelry. My container has a screw on lid so that whatever is in there will not accidentally be opened.
I sure hope you are having a great weekend so far and will have a chance to join us for the challenge. Thank you so much to all of you for your sweet comments on my New Moon post yesterday, it was so much fun to create and to be apart of a wonderful blog hop!
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Bashful Blue
Ink: none
Accessories: Nestabilities, Circle Punch, Container

NEW MOON & TWILIGHT TUESDAY BLOG HOP

Wow! Have you seen New Moon last night? I just loved it! I can't wait for the next couple of movies to come out! So after having seen the movie, are you team Edward of team Jacob? I love Edward and Jacob so it is really hard to choose, LOL! I should add a photo of Jacob on my blog too! First, I must say that Jacob has a gorgeous bod!! Ok, I just had to add that! LOL! I was supposed to have photos for you today but I was just way into the movie that I couldn't get any.

This is a card I have made as a guest of Twilight Tuesday. I have used Edward from The Greeting farm, Jacob and sentiment from Artful Inkables, and the girl on bike from Hanna Stamps.
Here are all 3 of them! I had so much fun coloring them! To achieve the sunset in the background I used my copic airbrush system . I realized later that I should have done it in grey and black since they are living in a rainy, cloudy area of Forks, WA. But I was pleased with it enough to share it with everyone!
Here is Bella on her motorcycle, she is from Hanna Stamps. In the movie she sees Edward when she does dangerous things and so I decided to create the scene when Bella rides the motorcycle and Edward tells her not to do it.
Here is a close up of Jacob and Bella . I really want to see it all over again, and now I can't wait for the DVD to become available. Hope you enjoyed my card! Your next stop is HERE.
Have a great day!

A Flutterby, Under The Weather Day

Whoo hoo!! Just a few more hours for those of you Twilight fans...New Moon will make it's debut at the theatres!! I'm one of those lucky ones that got tickets to the first showing at midnight too!
Stick around for tomorrow's post with Twilight Tuesday, my photos and review!!
In the meantime, I've got these to share with you.
Here is a box I've made which is a card and a drawer (to fill things with) all in one! The image is a newbie of Sick Lily from Pink Cat Studio's Digital Store. The other new image is of Sick Billy. I think it's so cute that they even have a remote control! =)
This is the box opened up like a card. These sentiments are free digital ones from Pink Cat's Digital store that go perfectly with the image.
Since Lily is sick, I filled it with some cough drops and will be giving this to a co-worker who is trying to get rid of a cough. Looks like I will be making more of these as this is the season where everyone starts getting sick. If you'd like to create a box like this too, I have used the tutorial created by my very sweet friend Teri!
Here is a card I have made for Flutterby Wednesday, it was supposed to be a post for yesterday but I just could not get the color right for her. This is Nora from CC Designs she is one of the Christmas stamps now available. I decided to use the non traditional colors for the holidays since pink is my favorite color. =)
One of the fun things I had when getting my card together and coloring was being able to add all kinds of things to her clothes. I was thinking to add pearls for the buttons on her coat and earrings but I went for the bling since there is no better time for it than the holidays! I've also added some glitter around her for snow. We also have 3 new additional members to the Flutterby team and I'd like to welcome them Kris, Karen and Pam!
Have a great day everyone!

It's Snow Time

It's hump day! I just can't believe how quickly the days are flying by, can you believe Thanksgiving Day is next Thursday? I've not started any Christmas shopping yet! Every year I say I will start early but that never happens. One thing I did start really early was getting all my Christmas cards made. Speaking of Christmas cards, here's another! I made this card because today starts a new challenge for All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge! All of the stamps/images you see here are a sneak peek! These are the new winter stamps that will be available on November 30th from All That Scraps. I absolutely love all of the CC Designs stamps, they are so much fun to color!
To create the scene, I have stamped the Christmas trees 3 times, stamped the bench and popped it off the card and then placed Emma on the bench. I also mounted the mug for dimension. I wanted my card to have the snow appear real so I used some pure white flowersoft and added it to the ground, trees and the bench.
Here is a little closer view of the scene. This week's challenge is a color challenge. The colors to use are Always Artichoke, Bravo Burgundy, Vanilla and Cameo Coral or colors that are similar to these.
Today is also Flutterby Wednesday! I have no card today but will post it for you tomorrow along with some new digital images from Pink Cat Studio! Hope you're having a great day and hope to see you back tomorrow!
