Club Anime Color Challenge

Welcome to this month's Club Anime Color Challenge! Each second Saturday of the month there will be a new color challenge that will last for 1 month. Be sure to participate because this month you will be eligible to win a $20 prize with Club Anime!
So onto the challenge... the colors used this month are Cameo Coral, Kiwi and Chocolate Chip.
This adorable cutie for the holidays is Sandy, and I have colored her outfit in Cameo Coral and Kiwi. The pretty papers I have used to go along with the challenge are from Bo Bunny.
Here is a close up of my card to show you that I have added some white flowersoft to act as snow. Doesn't it look like she is dancing in the snow? This really was a fun color combo since I don't really work too much with cameo coral. It's a really pretty color against the chocolate and kiwi.
I know just how much you all love these anime images, and I'd like to say that you can now get a 5% discount on all of your purchases just by clicking on the InStyle Stamps Promotion for November. This is at the top right of my blog.
Sure hope you will join in on the fun!!

Spotlight Saturday Challenge

Good morning everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful Saturday, today there is a new challenge on the Spotlight Saturday Challenge blog and that is to create a masterboard. What is a masterboard you ask, well it's what makes the background of your card. Rather than using pre-printed designer paper, you create it on your own. There are a variety of ways to create a masterboard and what I did was embossing.
I used my cuttlebug folder and dry embossed the words onto cardstock to create my own background. Another way to create it would be stamping your own paper. You can find many ways to get wonderful masterboards and I'd love to see what you can come up with! Be sure to check out what the rest of the DT has created, you won't be disappointed!

Flutterby Wednesday on a Friday

It's all about Christmas from here on out... just kidding, I know Thanksgiving is just around the corner. But, soon you'll be telling your kids not to peek into their gifts or stockings!
Here is a card made with one of the new Swiss Pixie Christmas stamps from CC Designs, her name is Santa Birgitta. Isn't she an adorable little Santa? You can get her from All That Scraps. This card was made for Flutterby Wednesday but I didn't have a chance to post it for you until today. The other thing I realized now is that the theme for the week was "Thankful". So, be sure you create a card that represents a Thankful Theme.
Here's the card in it's entirety. I love these stamps from CC Designs, they are all so cute! One thing I would always like to do is add a charm to all my cards. I was able to add this heart shaped locket charm, and wasn't able to find a Christmas one to match but somehow I think it's ok. Remember that for Flutterby Wednesday we are now able to add angels to the list since the holidays are just around the corner. Last but not least is a card from my OCS (one card swap) partner and friend Kim. She thinks I have all the stamps out there (LOL) and decided to draw one for me! So, this is truly a one of a kind! Not only did she draw this image but she made me this beautiful bracelet!! Talk about crafty! I love them both Kim, thanks so much! If you'd like to join in on the monthly OCS, Teri will post when you should sign up if you want to participate. She has already chosen the players for November and December. Check back in January to see when the next sign up will be.
Be sure to stop by tomorrow to see the next color challenge for Club Anime and the challenge for Saturday Spotlight! Have a wonderful day!

Pink Cat Digital Thursdays

Hope you are enjoying your week, and for those of you who had yesterday off I hope you had a great day! I was off yesterday and had gotten a couple of cards done for the holidays using these brand new digital images from Pink Cat Studio. My first card is of "Friendly Snowman" where I used my favorite holiday paper called Eskimo Kisses from Basic Grey.
I was in the mood to make some tall cards. These are really great for gifts that are in bigger boxes or even for gifts in a bag. You could put the card in the bag, or attach it to the side.
My next card is Santa. I like this santa because he reminds me of a wizard type of image. I love wizard images! I have a few wizard stamps that I should use and show you what I mean.
For santa, I used white flowersoft on the white parts of his clothes and then added stickles right on that which gave him a glittery outfit. I also used stickles on his eyebrows, and beard. I even dressed up the little bird with flowersoft too. I didn't get a close up of the image, the lighting was not so great.
Thanks so much for stopping by and for any comments you may leave. I'll be visiting your blogs shortly!

ATS Wednesday Challenge

Happy Wednesday everyone! First I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you for wishing my hubby and I a very Happy Anniversary! We both enjoyed reading all the sweet comments!

Today begins with a new All That Scraps Wednesday Challenge! The challenge is to create a Thanksgiving Project. I had so much fun trying to come up with something fun, creative and useful. I am soooo loving these digital images of Trevor and Emma that I had to use them more than once. I decided to decorate a small clear pail for a favor along with a matching place card.
Here is a closer look at Pilgrim Trevor. Because they are digital images I wanted to show how versatile they are. The image on the container is smaller and the one on the place card is the size of a regular stamp.
This is a close up of Pilgrim Emma on the favor container and place card. I hope you liked my project and hope that you will join in on the fun each Wednesday! You'll have a chance to win all kinds of stamps and more. If you love these images you really have to check out the store for more cuteness!
I will have my Flutterby Wednesday card up later this afternoon.

Paper: DCWV The Summer Stack, Pumpkin Pie CS, Soft Suede CS, and Neenah CS
Ink: Copics
Accessories: White Gel Pen, Oval punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Stitched ribbon

It's Been A Year!!

Whoo hoo!! Yesterday my hubby and I celebrated our very 1st Anniversary as husband and wife! I just can't believe how quickly time flew by. He and I dated for 7 years before we got married and if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing! We were married at The Halekulani Hotel and decided to have dinner at Orchids, and reminisce about our special day.
Hubby gave me a huge arrangement of red roses and presented it to me as soon as I woke up this morning. I'd show a photo of it but the lighting was bad when I took the photos and will have to retake them again for my album. I of course made a card for him! Ever since we met and dated, I made a card for him for each year that passed. So here is the card... it is one of my favorite stamps from the Wedding Collection from Whiff of Joy.
I colored them with my copics, added flowersoft for the flowers in the back of the carriage and accented the card with pink and white roses and pink half back pearls. Our wedding colors were not pink but I only had pink flowersoft, lol. Well I hope you had a great weekend and I wish you a wonderful day!
Don't forget to get your new holiday digital stamps from All That Scraps!

ATS Special Digi Release

Are you ready for the The holidays? Well I'm guessing most of you say "no". But I know you will be once you get your hands on these cuties! Christine of All That Scraps is releasing some brand new digital images on Monday!! There are all kinds of adorable ones that include angels, elves, santa and these Sugarplums images!

They are my favorites and just had to create with them first! My first card is of Trevor with Pumpkin and my second is of Emma with Pumpkin Pie. I thought they both would look great in green and browns, so to match them I used some papers from Basic Grey and my cuttlebug folder with pumpkins. Be sure to stop by the blog for more cuteness!

One more thing... I have been chosen as a guest DT member for the All That Scraps Challenge blog!! This challenge takes place every Wednesday! Be sure to join me for all the fun, you could be the winner of some super cute stamps and more!

I was thrilled beyond thrilled when Christine gave me the great news!! =)

Have a great day!

Worth Repeating

It's time for another Saturday Spotlight Challenge! The challenge this week is to use a stamp several times on your card. My card is of a manga girl, I know she was available a while ago but I have not had the chance to ink her up until now. Isn't she cute! What I did for the challenge was repeatedly stamped the words in the background which say "Thinking of You".
I also got a chance to finally use my nestabilities (Fleur De Lis)! It's been a favorite of mine for sometime now. I colored her in copics, then added some white beads to her blouse.
These are really fun challenges! If you love a challenge, try this one out!
Wishing you a great Saturday!
